The Grammy-winning star Tori Kelly’s condition is not well and she is under intensive care after being diagnosed with blood clots. According to sources, she was having dinner on Sunday in downtown Los Angeles when she experienced a fast heartbeat and she fell unconscious. Additionally, her friends wanted to ensure she was not taken to a hospital downtown and instead taken to one of the country’s best hospitals, Cedars-Sinai, therefore, they carried her outside and put her in the back of a car and went to the hospital instead of waiting for an ambulance.
She is getting care in the ICU and according to doctors, she has blood clots in her legs and lungs. They are still analysing her if there are any clots around her heart. During her hospitalization, she has been in and out of consciousness.
Firstly, she gained recognition as a teenager via her YouTube videos and she got popularity when she was 16 years old through Hollywood Week of the ninth season of American Idol.
In the categories of Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song, she won two Grammys in 2019 for her second album “Hiding Place,” for which she had been nominated for Best New Artist at the 2016 Grammy Awards. She provided the Meena voice in the animated movies “Sing” and “Sing 2.”
