Director-Actor G Marimuthu Dies of Heart Attack, Shocks Tamil Cinema

There is shocking news coming from the Tamil Cinema that famous actor-director G Marimuthu passed away after suffering a heart attack while dubbing for a TV show. Recently, he was seen in the movie ‘Jailer’ with Rajinikanth. Ramesh Bala, film trade analyst and industry insider confirmed the news on X (previously known as Twitter) on Friday. The actor was 57 years old. According to resources, it has been said that his remains will be taken to his native place where he will be cremated.

During his formative years, G Marimuthu worked as an assistant to lyricist Variramuthu. Later, he worked as an assistant with director Vasanth. He directed films like Kannum Kannum and Pulivaal. After that, he started pursuing acting and he made his debut in Yuddham Sei. Over the past few years, he has done many films like Vikram, Pariyerum Perumal, and Jailer, to name a few. Every actor and his fans took to their social media channels to express their feelings on the demise of the actor.
